Welcome to the home page of the family Leppäsläiset!

The Leppäsläiset family society was founded in 1995, in Finland. The first family meeting took place in Vihteljärvi, Kankaanpää, on July 22, 1995. Matti Lepäntalo acted as the founding father of the society. The place of domicile of the family society is the town of Kankaanpää, located in the northern Satakunta. The offspring of Manasse and Marjaana Leppimäki along with their families constitute the family society. The name Leppäsläiset comes from the fact that there are several surnames with the beginning "Leppä" in use in the family - such as Lepistö, Leppänen, Leppimäki, Lepäntalo. The word Leppä means the tree alder.
